Portland Maine is breeding wackos

If your daughter is eleven and she has a secret eighteen year old boyfriend, and she tells you she's spending the weekend with her best friend, you better beware. Get out your posse because she might already have the stash of condoms and pills at the ready.
In Portland, the ACLU is making this crazy thing happen. They're backing it up, folks, with their political clout, money and power. They're going the sly, sneaky back road and making your parenting decisions FOR you. This is all about the clinic issue and access to birth control pills for MINORS. What parent is going to deny their child access to the school's health care center if they get a sprained ankle? Aha! This is where they get you. Once your child is inside that clinic, and they want the pill, they can go to any nurse and give them some sob story about how their communication is broken down in the home. About how if you found out they were having sexual relations, you might beat them. Or you might get mad. Then the nurse can say, "It's ok, your conversation with me is protected. They never have to know. If you want the pill, let's get you some counseling." Then the next thing you know, your kid is sexually active, without your knowledge, consent, or without any feedback/interaction. THIS IS INSANE.

The ACLU is not your friend. They want to put up a barrier between you and your child and make it even harder for you to have any say in their moral value system. To these parents that actually support this, I say: ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND????

Or is it more worthwhile to spend your time and energy forcing the Al Gore version of global warming down everyone's throats?
